Which is the best bank to open a Savings Account with right now ?
This is not going to be my salary account and would love if they have a credit card that has good benefits too

I have been using ICICI bank as my primary account for the last 7 years, there tech is really superior ( I also have account in hdfc and parents have pnb, sbi & yes bank)
Icici is hitting it out of the park, I dont think I have visited the bank more than 3 times in 7 years.

I know right? Please also note that I dont use a cheque book, most of my transactions are online. I havent changed the address or any other details so it might vary a little bit for you but I have had absolutely no need, dont even use netbanking a lot. There app is more than enough.

Go for idfc if you plan on keeping higher balances. They give good rate of interest on savings with a very good digital experience
I can recommend going for HDFC because of their better mobile banking experience. PSU bank’s are not that great with mobile banking and customer support online.
You can look into Axis and ICICI as well but my top choice will be HDFC.

Au small finance bank, easy to open and cc has good offers too.
It's a small finance bank. I would never recommend having more than 5Lacs in small Finanace oe cooperative banks(even if Kiara convinces me to do so).

I have never visited my home branch in ICICI in the last 4 years, visited the nearest branch 1 time and a random branch 1 time.
I haven't seen my home branch.
But if a credit card is your calling ICICI has shit card, but HDFC is good. Though HDFC UX is shit, worse than big psu even.
