Which place is best to work, a startup or corporate? Which will ignite you to be an entrepreneur?
Looking for responses people from both sides
Corporate.
- first take a big name tag.
- get some stability in life.
-Qarzay kam rakho
- understand the idea of scale, industry etc.
-you don't ignite yourself intentionally to be entrepreneur, woh khud se hoti hai, ironically like a cold, silent fire.
The most successful entrepreneurs are aged 37 at average. Sab jaldi karne ka bhoot naya hai with VC money and a 90s middle class with cushions of family money. Doesn't mean it's sustainable.
The idea ki you are own boss is wrong. Even as entrepreneur, you are answerable.
Don't be an entrepreneur for the sake of it. Your question seems like it. Build skills and a business around it. A lawyer practicing a law firm is a businessman, a doctor with own hospital is. A tailor running 50 stitching machines is. An RJ hosting diwali events for side income is an entrepreneur.
Depends on the corporate - TCS and Google are on opposite sides of the spectrum for entrepreneurial spirit
Becoming an entrepreneur is a very personal journey, has nothing to do with where you work. Your ability to face risky situations might get a boost by working at a startup and you might become little more aware of how the whole ecosystem works. But then working at large corporate and staying on top of startup world news, attending events can help as well.
To do a startup the most important thing is identifying a deep problem, building a solution for which the users pay more than enough to just cover your costs. This has nothing to do where you work
