I need anyone to guide me regarding choosing an MBA specialization and I'm not good at numbers
There are a total 5 specialization
Mba in finance 
Mba in marketing
Mba in operations
Mba in decision science 
Mba in human resource
Can anyone suggest to me which is the right option for future career

Completed my B.com from a government college 2 years back. Have been handling family business, now planning to get my feet into the corporate world. What should be my next steps ?

I have three younger cousins. They don't want to code. They have their clarity. They don't want to pursue any particular engineering stream as well. 

They want to get a decent paying job. Let's say 6-8 lpa start with a path to 15-20 lpa in 4-5 years. 

I tried advising them to not invest a lot of money and four years of time in engineering. Their family is average middle class financially. I told them that I'll advise you what all to learn like content writing, seo, data analytics etc. So do a simple course, save money and rather invest in something that matters for job. 

They did listen but did not get confidence to act. 
All three went for engineering stream. These are private colleges with tier 3ish names. Now they don't get time to put a lot of time because 8-4 is usually college time. Unlike tier 1,2 college where you get campus and a lot of freedom, the colleges usually have a lot of classes and compulsory 80% type attendance. 

Did you face similar situation? What did you advise? Do you think I was giving them right decision?

Your advice is misleading. You don't become a best in class data analyst if you can't code. SEO is a shady business and there isn't growth. Even a PU graduate can do content writing or SEO. Engineering is like a passport. You use the degree to make your career. The number of people earning 20L with 5 yoe with a non engg degree is pretty low. I empathize with the 8-4 struggle. I have seen such people, but they are still better off by doing engineering than anything else. There are other core engineering career options in non-software industry, but you will have to be competitive to secure a decent job even there. There are banking, insurance etc. Even these require people to be competitive. There is no free lunch. May be in European nations, but these won't last long.

I am probably earning 2x of what an average T-1 MBA grad makes in India. I'm just not happy in my role and this SDE grind caught me lackin'.

Can you help me determine whether it is still a good bet to get an MBA? Because these normie MBA folks are literally the dumbest people I have seen and I think I can do a better job than them.

I joined an MBA program while I was making close to the average salary of post MBA grads. 
  
 Few things to remember: 
  
 1. Opportunity cost of a 2 year MBA is humongous. The PGP at IIMs will cost you a crore+. Imagine trying to get an ROI on it. 
  
 2. PGP at IIMs are filled with freshers and low work experience folks which naturally means there are very few senior roles on offer. So you may not find the right level after MBA. 
  
 3. It's best to restrict yourself to 1 year programs like ISB's PGP and IIM's PGPX. 
  
 4. Be really sure of what you want from the MBA. You can easily switch to SDM or product roles without MBA. Recommend giving that a shot if you are just tired of SDE

I am a 27 Male, Data Analyst (Transitioning to Data Scientist next month)did my B.Tech from a Tier 3 college and PGD in AI from a new University
Total Experience (3.4 years):
 .1 yr - Worked at a Big4 firm as a Tester after B.Tech.
2.  Analytics career began after PGD with the GST department of a state government (Tax Fraud analytics) (2.4yrs)

Professional Achievements:
- Worked on GST-related projects and published various fraud reports
- Contributed to effective enforcement, potentially resulting in fines exceeding 300 crores
- Implemented fraud analytics models that were appreciated by the Finance Minister (Nirmala Tai)

Current Situation:
- Salary: 12 LPA (No recent raises, feeling stagnant and subject to office politics)
- Current job feels monotonous and limited in exposure to advanced Deep Learning (DL) and AI technologies

I am interested in becoming a startup founder in the consumer tech space in future also.

Question for Advice:
Given my current situation and future aspirations, should I:
1. Continue working with another state government GST or move to Central GST?
2. Explore opportunities in startups or corporate roles with a focus on higher salary?
3. Should I change domain or think of specializing in this domain, what should be my career trajectory?

Out of curiosity, I asked the salary in DM and the salary was more than what I was earning. So this puts me in a self degrading situation and hence I want to know the salary of fellow 2017 MBA grads.

No hate but this is one of the worst things to do for one's mental peace, so many people will have FOMO because of this, including you.  
  
 I know people who stopped participating on Fishbowl because of this, with techies always asking about salaries, investments and what not. 
  
 If your salary is good enough for you, why worry about what others are earning, buddy.  
  
 I once heard a school senior speak on the topic "Why is his shirt whiter than mine?" for an extempore speech and I can't help but recall what they said - Be it anywhere, someone's shirt will always be whiter than yours. The question is, if your shirt is reasonably white and you and those close to you appreciate you while wearing it, does it matter what others are wearing?

Specifically a question to all the t1 tech clg grads (mainly software engineers) earning 1l+ pm out of clg with a lot of scope for growth. Post mba avg salary is 1.5l per month. 

I can understand ppl desperate for a career change and non tech ppl who are underpaid and don't really have ab option but it baffles me why well paid folks would shell out 30lakhs kr take the burden of loan just to learn how to appear smarter than you actually are instead of investing it for a meagre salary increase that can be achieved by job switches.

I'd love to  hear any insights about ppl who've already been in the space. Why u did, salary PRE post sector etc

Why the heck do people do an MBA?

I can share, I was working abroad post my T1 engineering. So you can imagine it must be > 1L.  
  
 Like all those confused 20+ engineers, I asked one of my skip levels that how should one plan the career path. He gave me a simple framework, “Look at your boss or bosses boss. If you are ok living that life, you’re on the right path else time to think more”.  
  
 I got my answers, maybe try finding yours rather than seeking majority “votes” :)

I have completed my bachelor’s in B.com I’m interested in digital marketing so selecting major decisions science and minor marketing can it be a good  option ?
