Who is a person you used to respect, but don't any more?

I have seen many instances where a person, A who has a huge respect for a person B- B is a successful person and an expert in his domain- suddenly starts despising B because B's opinion on topics such as politics, finance, economy, defence etc are not aligned with that of A. So much so that A starts doubting the credibility of B which few seconds back he/she was a admirer of! Why do we change our behaviour just because our opinion with the other person differs?

Mine's terrible at organising things around the house and his room, leaves food outside on the table at night, leaves lights, geysers on all the time. Sits with his legs on the dining table.

New silent layoffs at the end of November. Some teams are merging. So team members will be moved to new teams and then laid off 😞 Unacademy will now reach an irrelevant status like vedantu etc

What is it that you like and dislike about them in general?

So, my friend wanted to take up task with other team, his manager didn't want it. So the manager took him among the other team members and publicly humiliated him showcasing that he is worried as fuck about the task in hand(he was just excited) and that they are putting pressure on him(they weren't) I started thinking, if this happened with me, I don't have a comeback, but I wouldn't wanna stay with a manager who uses his own people to get ahead. Would you?

Remember finding a lot of inspiration from just reading/hearing people who inspired me at some time. I think it helps. I'm trying to understand who everybody here looks up to, and people I should read about & follow.
