Why TATA is afraid of launching 4x4 segment?
Tata Motors has been hesitant to launch 4x4 vehicles in India. 1. Market Demand: They have the demand already they earned a lot and customers were eager to see a 4x4 segment of cars. Where I can see reviews like Beast looks with the body but "no 4wd" 2. Cost and Pricing: In a price-sensitive market like India, where many buyers prioritize affordability, a higher price tag might deter potential customers. As we know Value for money and feature-rich SUVs like Harrier and Safari cost around 30-33lakhs. not at least the AWD feature. 3. Fuel Efficiency: Likely in between 12-14kmpl, 4. Competition and Focus: Where TATA has a list of feature-rich SUVs, Compact SUVs and electric Segments, which is already dominated by brands like Mahindra, and Renault with their Duster Compact SUV, Thar, XUV 500, 700, and Scorpio models. 5. "Urbanization: As India becomes more urbanized, the demand for rugged, off-road capable vehicles might be decreasing, with more buyers opting for vehicles suited to city driving." Is this a reason, Then why are Mahindra, Toyota, and Maruti Jimny, who are in this segment, in India TATA lovers are urging for 4wd beasts from TATA that would most fit Harrier, Curvv.
