Why are many founders building Stealth startups?
I came across many founders on LinkedIn who have added building Stealth startups in their bio/ description.

Most of them try building something, lose interest quickly and pivot. So in stealth no one except them gets to know how many times they've pivoted, their mistakes etc.
The initial stages of most startups is figuring out a problem (if any) worth solving and validating it. This is where people work on a wide set of loose ideas and tons of drastic changes/pivots can happen (in my experience) over time.
So instead of tooting their own horns, some founders prefer to keep it discrete until they've settled on an idea and a problem worth solving.
In my consulting days, we had a stealth client. They were stealth for the world because their idea was unique and they didn't want anyone else knowing about it until it's ready. They wanted to keep that surprise
