They screwed some people's credit score with their Fintech partners and the way they managed their accounts. All BNPL companies did this not just Slice
Rbi is the one to blame for. They out no where pushed their new guidelines against ppi lines and all ppi cards had to change their model quickly
They opened multiple loan accounts for single cards(not good for credit profile), refused to close accounts many times straight up said uninstall the app and forget about it. Many lenders incorrectly reported defaults which these guys couldn't get corrected , user was forced to go to multiple companies to get it corrected.
I'm not saying what RBI did was 100% correct , but the companies in question were not innocent , had these issues been taken care of , RBI would have found it much harder to pass such stringent regulations.
As a former employee at Slice, if you know inner workings and how they operate you will start hating them as well.
Hey, where are you working now? Just curious about what people do after leaving slice. Did they match the offer you had at slice? I’ve heard that slice employees get insane salaries.
Its not true that you get insnare salary, but they try to increase your salary from start so that its hard for other people to hire you *
If you see there is * in my statement because slice only does that for 2 kind of people
- You come from big college name
- You are very “close” to management.
If you are in either of those 2 you will get lot of perks, benefits, great promotion etc But if not, after you give your resignation they will just force you to complete 2 month notice period and let you leave
Likely because there’s no real value addition over traditional products
