Work for promotion
I'm a software developer (1 YOE). What are the do's/don'ts that need to be done to get good promotion?
- Do the job before you get the promotion (if you're trying to get to SDE -2, do what they do, without the title)
- Keep your manager informed about the efforts, wins you are putting in
- Try to get at least one major win in the year.
