Worst Industry Association to work for? Share your take.

Considering there’s already too many reccos on great places to work, I am creating this thread to raise awareness - Please comment on organisations that you have worked at and don’t recco to someone who is looking to work there. Basis - Toxic culture , incompetent leadership , unstable finances or anything that makes it a bad place to work

Hey guys. What are the worst companies to work for and why?

If we can have a list of Best companies to work for then we should also have a list of the worst companies to work for. I think everyone in the industry has come across very toxic cultures themselves or at least know a friend that did. Here is my list: 1/ EY 2/ OLA 3/ Wipro 4/ Ninjacart 5/ Mu Sigma 6/ Octro 7/ Invideo 8/ Times Internet 9/ Byjus 10/ Paytm

What made it worst? The pay, the culture, or your manager?

If you see employees from that company then you know something is definitely wrong with their career

a couple of my friends work for TheBig4's and all of their WLB is the most fked up I have ever heard about....

I'd like to rant about the Quality Team. The ones who dissect into your work and try to nitpick anything that could be flagged as a 'wrong process', 'wrong procedure', inaccurate solution', 'misjudging the statement', 'rude tone', etc. Do you guys get extra incentives on catching these mistakes? No, I don't think so. You get a bunch of things to do quality checks on but actually when there's barely anything wrong, you will go till the deep end to find an error. Why do you have a Quality meet for any feedback from the alleged wrongdoers end when you guys are not ready for any feedback? All I hear you say, "as discussed earlier", "prior to this call", "I totally understand what you're saying", etc. Remember kids, when people ask you for a feedback session over a meet link, it's never for you to voice out or prove yourself correct. Ultimately it's these guys who win and thanks to them, we lose out on our monthly metrics.

I was done with a very shit project team. The client is notorious, ask anyone in EY GDS about a telecom provider project near Manesar that everyone dreads. They make you work night shifts and literally have nothing to do there. I know people who game there all night. It is just the worst and my health was being affected. I am being paid < 10L by the way. So it was getting very toxic. I decided to ask my manager but he said that it is not possible right now. I asked my friends in other projects and I came to know that the only way to leave the project is to leave EY. I also came to know about someone who left EY to leave the project and rejoined EY to join another project. I am now done with EY. Who said that Big 4 is good? Only Boomers who think Big 4 has prestige ig because they pay peanuts.

Since I’ve been working under a crappy management just wanted to know what others are going through as well. My manager takes a PL off my account everyday since I’m on notice period in the hopes this will convince me to rescind my registration and work under her 💀
