To all those who selected Google? Why is it the dream job? Is it better pay? WLB? Better projects? What is it?

Hands down Meta! Google may be close 2nd Reason - when we have a deadline but not enough people, the managers are technical, and they step in and do the work with the team. I would love that in the manager, shows Empathy!

Who so ever pays more, because no job is safe & secure.

Hands down MBBS

MBBs suck the soul out of you for the money they give. Leave out the people over 40 yrs old in MBB, everybody else would be paid better had they been in FAANG. FAANG is much better anyday. Much better WLB - you can eat meals away from laptop/ with family, you are not flying out Monday 5AMs, no review every 6 weeks which can potentially end your stint, mostly your super boss would be having a functioning family and hence respect some boundaries. You can choose to stay at your current level and not have to keep growing into the next role every 6 months Each MBB hires 150 folks every year. They have been operating for 20-30 years. From all those years of recruitment, they have maybe 100 partners each. Partners make money ( again not very crazy, avg maybe 5Cr). The tradeoff is not aspirational for most people - unless you really really like the job (which isn't the case for most)
