Who was the person behind the development and launch of Paytm soundbox? I’ve read articles about how Vijay thought it was a break-through idea while waiting for a payment confirmation with a shopkeeper. Is it true? I think the product is really one-of-its-kind built for users across the spectrum and would like to know more about the people who worked on it.

I wouldn’t trivialise it. The execution has been so strong. The product has a strong revenue model and pull for its audience. Its not often you see such execution at scale.

Paytm stocks lying in my holdings, every time I successfully accumulate more to average out my price, something goes south and the stocks crash. I have patience, and can accumulate some more. Any sound advice?

P.S. Not seeking directions, just some sane advice. I was in a murky situation with PNB a few years ago, and I successfully managed to accumulate and now they are doing handsomely!

QR, those radios which can't play Arijit or Eminem and Fast tag was major revenue maker of Paytm. Now see, how phonepe targetting that segment that too without a monthly subscription. Ohh, yes. It's a 1 time fee and that can be masterstroke for another decacorn PhonePe. ( ~13B ) Vss was caught sleeping on weekends.

I’m wondering where did VSS got the cash to buy 10% of PayTM. Some rough estimates suggest it would be at least $500 million. That’s a lot of cash or is my rough math wrong. Did he do something like Ritesh/Oyo buyback which was peculiar or could it be at a discount. I’m wondering if anyone has any thoughts or idea if what could happen.
