Hello! I will be interning in Mumbai around Bandra Kurla complex for ~2 months (April and May) and I need your help to understand the best way to find accommodation in Mumbai. Please help. Thanks!

Everythings gonna be super expensive. Your best bet is to look for Airbnb's as you wanna stay for only 2 months

Anything in BKC or towards Bandra will be astronomically expensive. Your best bet would be to find an accommodation in Chembur. It is a fairly nice and one of the greener suburban areas with very nice connectivity to BKC. Check if you are able to find a room in a shared apartment (for this flats without brokers group on Facebook could be useful).

People working in Mumbai, how exactly did you find a home?

Just as the title says, how on earth were you able to find a decent flat/pg? I'll be moving to Andheri East next week and I have been trying hard to find affordable renting options but haven't been able to. The properties are either way too expensive, ask for way too high security deposit or just don't prefer bachelors. Brokerage is also a problem. What helped you all in finding a decent flat? Any leads would be helpful. TIA!

How much does it cost to stay in a decent PG near lower parel? This would be my 1st time in a mumbai PG. In Bangalore, we can manage with 15-20k (with food) in good pg. How's the scene in Mumbai? Also, is there a hack to find an affordable place?
