sab marenge, sirf Trivedi bachega
who will be the Trivedi amongst unicorn startups that will survive the funding winter?
Cred, Zerodha, Dream11, Swiggy, dehaat etc
Basic any product which is solving some problem.
what problem is Cred solving?
Multiple credit card payment at 1 place and reducing the friction in exorbitant charges mainly hidden most of the times.
Apart from that top 10% of India's formal economy drives 60% of GDP... Creating distribution there and then launching products like credmint will prove a huge success in long term. ( Zero real estate and HR cost unlike banks)
Travel, ecommerce, luxury items, d2c etc can be pushed to those 2-3cr users whose per capita is 10k $

But I have kept an eye on fintech since 2008 and CRED will be one of the best thing happened to India in last 2 decades in fintech atleast... same model can be replicated globally as well.
I own 7 CCs and had to maintain an XL for payment dates and what not...now things are smooth, infact pretty smooth.
As a shubhchintak and well wisher, I would recommend you my friend to look for a job outside Cred and jump ship soon because Cred will be the biggest disaster to happen in the fintech space in the last two decades. Business is built on top of profits and not smooth user experience. no profit no dhandha. I also feel that how can someone who believes he is part of the elite in Indian population carry 7 credit cards. Only discount hunters showcase such behaviour and maintaining XL file for credit card payments is the most unproductive use of time I have heard in my life. Time is money for the elite Top 1% Indian population.
Money can buy time for 1%. 6-7 CC is normal nowadays if u fly frequently and shop online. I used to maintain XLS before cred not now...coz I got charged by amex once due to late payment... Humara kya h sir...vairagi admi h jhola uthaenge chal denge...kya cred kya Google...sujhav k lie dhanyawad...gn8
