IT consulting company Reviews

We have heard so much about how IT services consulting company is bad over Product based company (e.g. TCS vs Amazon/Microsoft ). I want to know about pros and cons of going into a consulting company from a product based company. I felt my learning was very slow in the Product based company and hence thinking of joining a startup. Right now I have an offer from IT consulting startup in the domain of AI, Blockchain, Cloud Applications. What can you tell me about this? I looked on LinkedIn but there are not enough employees (250 only) , so unable to get opinions. Most of them are 1-3 yrs experience and joined right out of college. So their views are not helping much.

Have worked for a SaaS startup, 1 consulting MNC and currently relatively small consulting company. The problem is whenever someone says service companies they think of WITCH companies which are definitely not good but at a smaller scale there are many good companies and the work they do are really commendable. Fractal, HashedIn, Quantiphi, Searce, Sahaj, Velotio, Everest, Default, One2N to name a few. Can’t promise about salary growth though.
