About Notion
Does anyone knows what is notion used for and what is the advantage and disadvantage of using notion Would love to hear your experience on notion
my friend uses it as storing his codes, ideas about his projects and work. He also does journaling and is his primary note taking app. Its features are great especially for journaling and who prefer typing.
My mostly things are handwritten and find more comfortable with ios notes but i will definitely say notion is one of the best.
i will also advise to spend 30 mins and watch good youtube tutorial app for notion. Sometimes it better to spend good amount of time and understand all
I used notion for about 4-5 months for notetaking but it's format appeals coders mostly and it is designed for that. I am always automatically gravitating towards MS Onenote for its versatility and simplicity.
Been using it since 2019. Basically it's a knowledge base. You can also use it as a kanban board or excel or as a markdown writer. But as it can do all this and more and has good free plans it makes it ideal to store all your knowledge. Look up some of the public pages people have built on their subreddit and use whichever fits you the best. They also have a chatgpt like service but that's paid on top of the regular plans. Can also be used as a portfolio website too but you need to pay to add a custom domain
Imo it's database on the internet. Use it however you like, and some of the template makes bootstrap quicker.
