Ex-founder and married now

From my college days I always wanted to start something of my own. After my graduation I started my own company then closed due to the pandemic. Post the pandemic I joined a company. Got married. I want to start something of my own now and am very scared because in 1 year we will have a baby I don't know what to do. Financially not capable of starting as well. I need to save for the future. I am having a big time existential crisis is anyone going through the same thing? Being a woman and being highly motivated with a lot of challenges itself is challenging.

It depends on the scale of the startup. If you want to start a business and scale it slowly in your own time then boostrap - you can decide your balance and own your time. If you are looking to scale it fast and run it on VC fuel, then frankly, even my cat is not happy with me :). But then there are many successful married female founders; but mostly they are building with their life partner etc. I hope you find a way to take the plunge. Personally, I feel buildinf a startup is the most fun anyone can have; even on most excruciating days

Startup is a marathon not a sprint and kids and family life should always be first priority. You will have ample time to succeed in your career. Just do not extinguish the ambition

Don’t let life stop you from doing what you want. Ask a fresher earning 8LPA getting a 15L car because that was their dream as a kid. Ofcourse, logic and rationality ultimately prevails but know what makes you truly happy. Often it is a good substitute to have no regrets.

Start small. Build something 1 user a day while you are at job. Keep things very very simple, just focus on delivering to end users. Once that is achieved, you will have self-confidence as well as financial stability to move out of job as well. Starting up don’t need money. Don’t think about about problems that are not existing today.

Arre ye sab to zindagi bhar chalti h, start being disciplined in life now, make time for your startup product/service. Meaning no more weekends for next 5 years and dedicatedly build the prototype-->start selling it-->compensate your salary with it-->leave company--> dedicate yourself to YOUR OWN company
