How do you deal with the constant pressure to climb the corporate ladder? I'm happy in my current role, but everyone acts like I'm failing if I'm not gunning for a promotion. How do you resist the ""up or out"" mentality?
Depends on your circumstances, have skipped going up ladder, once due to health issues and once since needed more family time, both times others clinged the opportunity, feel sad sometimes but no regrets
