Where to look?

I'm 24 year old unemployed. I graduated in 2021 with BTech IT from tier 3 college. Initially I was preparing for UPSC exam but I gave up after few months and now for a year I have been learning Front End Development and have learnt HTML, CSS, JS & ReactJS but unable to find a job. I made a lot of mistakes in past and didn't learned from them. I'm not good at anything. I apply daily at different platforms ex: wellfound (formerly angellist), hirist, hirect, instahyre, cutshort, individual mass hiring companies off campus but from nowhere I'm getting interview call even if I get call I'm not able to clear interview. Now the thing is my parents gave me ultimatun to get out of the house by April 1st they don't care what type of job I do. I don't understand what can I do now. I'm willing to do hardwork and learn from my mistakes I just need little guidance to get on a track. If anyone can guide me on how to get a job or any advice. I would really appreciate it. Also explores NaukriGulf and a couple other portals. Preferred locations - UAE/Europe. Any referrals will also be extremely appreciated 🙃

What are some of the top websites to use today for applying/finding open tech roles. LinkedIn isn't LinkedIning like LinkedIn used to these days. 😪 On a serious note though, really want to switch from my current role and have been looking for a while all over linkedin, getting 0 responses. I currently work as a SDE(backend) for a B2B Saas company with ~1.5 years of experience. Any help would be much appreciated.🙏

Hi all I am looking for opportunities as a data engineer. I have 2.5+ years of experience. I am not getting calls from naukri or linkdin. From last 6 months I got 2-3 calls. Can anyone give me any suggestions what to do in this case.

I am a '21 graduate from a Tier 1 college (old IIT) and have had short stints as product manager at a couple of startups. About a year back, I decided to startup but after a few months, realized that startup idea wasn't worth pursuing. Researched around a few startup ideas and finally landed upon a good one in D2C space. But the problem is financing. I don't have much saving and friends / family network wouldn't be able to finance this. I really want to pursue this idea but finance is becoming a hindrance. So started looking for job opportunities about 3 months back. I have been exploring work opportunities in product / founder office / EIR roles or other generalist role. Job hunt process has been frustrating to say the least. Getting very few calls. In most cases, people are ghosting after couple of rounds of interview or assignment. In some cases, after getting through 2-3 rounds, I got to know that opening has been closed temporarily. Most HRs don't even have the decency to give feedback. I don't intend to work in job for long anyway. As soon as I have the job, I plan to start working on my business idea and quit as soon as I have enough financial leeway. How should I go about job hunt process? I have been trying to connect with folks on LinkedIn in whose company job openings are there. Apart from this, I have been connecting with founders from recently funded startups. Naukri / Instahyre and IIM Jobs are other portals I have been looking on. Anything I should do differently here? Looking forward to hearing your suggestions / experience.

I always thought that LinkedIn is the only place to get a decent job for Software Developer professionals. Is there any other app which should be considered for switching?

Whoever is looking for a change in Product, do you guys have preferred platforms apart from the careersites and Linkedin that generally give you good traction from recruiters? Doing this for a survey to understand what channel would be more effective.

Also tell me about your experience from where you get maximum result when you applied for Software Engineer role on any job opportunity platform.

I have been terminate in Jan. Its almost end of March now. I have been applying since Feb. But still i can see application in progress status in the careers page of the companies. Usually how long it takes to get another job after being terminated/laid off?
