Laid off via PIP
Today I was asked by Hr to resign, with 60 days notice period. What shall I do to save myself from further exploitation by the firm. Also, if I resign might have to give back my joining bonus as I have completed 11 months
So Flipkart will be doing performance based layoffs. I have been placed on PIP. How should I proceed considering I don't have any other offers and not much experience either.
Do PIP, but start actively looking for job Eitherways what the outcome is, it will be best to move
@MeekGlance46 : I was put on pip 3 years back. The boss was an asshole who had a habit of putting all the blame on his team when the category was not doing well. I was given the shittiest brands in the bu and could not do much with them. I contested the pip but the hr and the bu head sided with my boss. The goals for the pip were closed on the mail with hr in cc. I worked very hard for the next 2 months and made sure that I put weekly updates on the mail. And my pip got cleared. 1.5 year back I joined a new team which was earlier headed by the same boss and I got promoted 😉. He had tears in his eyes that day when he congratulated me. Pip can be cleared it does not mean the end of your tenure at flipkart.
Glad you made it in the end
Serve PIP, look for jobs, just before 45th day, speak to your manager about the stakes, you resign before PIP ends, you'll get 60 days

Is it easy to come back from a PIP there or you'll be booted to meet their quota usually?
