Which company did you have the worst interview experience with?

Recently gave amazon interviews for theirs ads team. My DSA round with LP went good and the lld and hld round also went fine as i was able to come up design in HLD covering metric’s monitoring and fail safe and in LLD i was able to cover p0 and p1 requirements. Got rejection after 4 days and recruiter said HLD and LLD rounds were not upto the mark. Folks i wanted to check where did i made mistake? I checked with interviewer also if he/she is fine with what i was suggesting and they were okay with it

I recently interviewed at a startup for a Backend role. I cleared the initial take-home assignment round and subsequent DSA round and their HR told me the third round would be a Design round. I prepared accordingly. At the time of the interview, no one showed up. I had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to show up. Instead of asking me a Design question, the latecomer asked me another DSA question. I asked him why is he doing that as it was clearly communicated to be a Design round. The interviewer said Design would be asked in the next round if I clear this one. Weird! He only gave me 10 minutes to come up with the solution. After that he spilled the answer, and cut the call abruptly. I get a rejection email the next day. Now why am I writing this post? Because I just saw the CTO of thar company rant on Linkedin about how his candidates declined their offer letters at the last minute. The moral of the story is that if you misbehave with your candidates, they will misbehave with you. So be prepared to take the L.

So I applied on Coindcx website for an open role about a week ago. Their HR “manager” called me after CV review and asked general questions like past role, why looking for a change etc. Then came the CTC part. He said my expected CTC is out of their budget as their budget is like 10% increment from my current role but he will try to stretch to 15%, the next day I called and said since I need to move city as well if you can get upto 20, I am good. His response “lets start the process and then we will see” Next day Round 1. The person join the called and was without camera, even though my camera was on (I always thought its common courtesy to have camera on). From her way of talking it looked she was not prepared or afraid to take interview. There was no introduction, no hello, we straight away went to interview. She said she will ask 1 DSA question, 1 SQL question then some theory. I solved the DSA question, she asked me to add few things I did, now her reaction to this was (I am not able to understand how your code works so I am not sure it will give output). Then we went to SQL question, her question had incorrect values and I had to point it out to her, I solved that as well with some assumptions as I forgot some syntax. She then forgot the actual output and said your output is incorrect then I showed this is what you asked so she was like okay Then abruptly we ended the interview when she said please ask any questions which I asked around work, even that she was not answering correctly. It was like either she was not interested or she was afraid. Within hours I got rejection mail as well. So either because of CTC they did a formal interview (which I am like you can say you are out of budget), or if your interviewer is not good please get it fixed. Will never apply for this company for sure

I have a dsa round with Availity and the interview is conducted by BarRiser. Any one recently appeared for the same? Will appreciate what kinds of questions/ topics to expect. Requesting suggestion of topics to prepare for 3 years experienced backend developer. Thanks.

Applied to Paypal through a linkedin job post around mid May. Got reached out by their HR late in May for an Online Assessment round on Hackerrank. OA was of 1 hour and contained 8 MCQ on Android and 2 DSA easy level leetcode - 2 sum + max profit. Cleared that and 2 WEEKS later got asked to interview for a subject in depth and DSA round. This round contained general Android knowledge and in depth language awareness questions(Kotlin based). Around the end of the interview, the interviewer asked to open any preferrer IDE and share the screen and then to write a solution for eliminating a target value from Integer array(can contain duplicates too) without using extra space. Cleared that and went on to the 3rd round three days later which was essentially a repeat of the previous round but more conversational. The time ran out before any DSA Question could be asked. Three days later got asked to interview for the Hiring Manager round which got scheduled and then got cancelled a day before the interview was supposed to take place. Tabse leke ye haal hai. HRs are ghosting and seem clueless themselves. Their workday portal also has removed the link for the role I was interviewing for. Who else has been through this haath ko aaya mooh na laga situation?
