I am a backend developer working in java. I am working in the same company for the last 7+ years. How should I prepare for interviews? Should I focus on ds and algo, core java concepts or only system design is asked at this level? PS - not fixed on FAANG. Just want to join a good product company

Hello everyone, I’m preparing for an interview for a Cloud Engineer role, with a strong focus on AWS. I have around 2 years of experience in cloud technologies, primarily working with AWS, and I want to ensure I’m fully prepared for the technical aspects of the interview. Here are the key topics I’m currently focusing on: 1. Terraform & Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Argo CD, Helm) 2. AWS Core Services: ECS and EKS (for container orchestration), EC2, S3, EFS, RDS, Lambda (for serverless applications) 3. Networking & Load Balancing:Network Load Balancer (NLB), Transport Layer Security (TLS),Route 53 for DNS 4. Security & Access Control: IAM (Identity and Access Management) 5. Monitoring & Observability: CloudWatch, Grafana 6. Cost Optimization:AWS tools and strategies to manage and reduce cloud costs 7. Hi all, I have around 2 years of experience, and I am getting a chance to interview with Google. I am currently working on frontend, but I want to move to backend and I have been preparing for that, but with phone screen round coming up, if I tell them I have worked on Frontend, then I will definitely be considered for frontend role and if I lie there, then I might fuck up interview if they ask backend questions, any suggestions will be appreciated.
