AGI- Is any company working towards achieving AGI in India?

Not that I know of. Right now, LLMs seem to be the best bet and we don't have any LLM that gets close to GPT-4. Why compare with GPT-4? Because GPT-4 has been said to show sparks of AGI by Microsoft research.

How Indian large MNCs making crores of profit, but not investing it in research, is painful to watch.
If TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. invested in AI research, we might actually make ChatGPT or SAM like AI models as well.
They are just making heavy profit by exploiting low salary expectations of Indians, not contributing that much to Tech in return.
