What's the point of buying a plane ticket if it doesn't come with a seat. Like BC wtf do we pay for then? Airlines are scummy af

Isn't Akasa a budget airline?

Indigo did that with me once. And worse if you check in at the airport counter, you have to pay extra as convenience fee or something.

What I did: paid the fees and picked a seat. After clearing security check, filed a complaint with consumer forum online. In a week, I got a quiet refund of the seat price (300). That felt good 😀

ps: i always do webcheckin at last moment, just before reaching the airport.

It's a feature not a bug
