Almost 8 pm, temp is 41°C. Monsoons are still 2 weeks away

Jammu (in Kashmir) touched 43°C today

It is not even funny now. The water never cools down, not even at 5am.

Until and unless people across the Globe change their habits and demand that they want development not at the cost of the environment, the situation is going to worsen only.

Sometimes I wonder how at least the people who are parents can't think about what they are going to leave behind for their kids;

Lots of money, property with N number of amenities along with the worst quality of air, water and food?

Their descendants are not going to care about the money and property if the environment is unlivable for humans.

Exactly! People want kids but do nothing for the basic living standards

I'm just sad that we have been reading about them since school, and decades later we have made it worse :/

Jammu is not in Kashmir, and the weather of Jammu has always been like this much like Delhi

Till Oct 2019, Jammu was winter capital of Kashmir.

Jammu is at a higher altitude than Delhi, hence having similar weather is not something good

Jammu was winter capital of J&K because Srinagar would get too cold in winter.
