I am looking out for anyone who has learnt Guitar on their own, or by just online medium (apps/websites). What is the app/website/channel which you followed? How well you are into it now? Are you able to play some songs tune? Some tips and learning sources please?
Justin guitar on YouTube. Great content to start learning. You have to be dedicated enough to self learn though if you're new to music. Learning in isolation and putting everything together in rhythm are 2 completely different things.
I'd say have particular songs as milestones and all the best on your journey!
+1 for Justin Guitar. He has dedicated courses on his website from beginner to advanced. Really worth it imo, and most of his works are made free
Thanks for your suggestion. Yeah I had a look at his youtube, and at Mary’s too. But I felt like it is a bit faster to follow. Also, there is no way to cross check our playing, or a step by step stuffs. Currently I am using Yousician app on iPhone, using its paid version. It has lessons, it plays tunes, chords to hit and when I hit, it even shows whether it was proper hit or now. Like if I had play 3rd cord at 1st fret, it is able to recognise that sound and mark it green or red. So I was looking forward for something like that. Also, isn’t there some bollywood/Indian specific songs teaching guy/app? I am into Hollywood songs, so Bollywood songs themed teacher/app, would have helped me better I feel

There’s this one course on Udemy, can’t recall the name, that is pretty good. Coursera offers some good basic courses from Berklee college. Youtube has this amazing dude Marty Schwartz, check him out.

I'm not a pro player by any means, but I'm able to play if I read tabs/chords. And after some experience, I'm able to understand what pitch a song is in.
The biggest advice I can give you is this: Make the learning process fun for you. What I mean is, learn to play songs you like/love. The easiest ones are pop songs that you hear on the radio types.
They generally have a basic structure, and easy chords that teach you to move between chords in a rhythm. I used (and still use) ultimate-guitar.com to find how to play songs.
From there, you can move on to complex stuff. (I'm no expert here)

You can skip past it. I use their Android app all the time.
Not guitar but I learnt ukulele co.pletely online. Just find one good learning playlist and stick to it. Now I can play my fav songs on uke. Will buy a guitar after getting job...
