Most web 3 projects are scams with community manager tasked with growing the scam by hyping pointless shit. Be very careful with who you join, should be a reputable project and good team most importantly.

It does matter because you might just end up pulling your hair out over what they make you do.

I tried doing it for a project, this guy wanted me to have fake conversations with another mod on the telegram group just to make it seem like it's active.

Plus if it's a rugpull, your work ex will have a hole you can't fill and experience you can't talk about.
