Is NFO a no brainer for investment? Because it will increase more often then not :)
Motilal Smallcap NFO is released. Motilal being an established name, is anyone considering investing in the NFO and why or why not?
I have seen most people and finance influencers to avoid NFOs. Is it like a "rule" among the community?
With MFs it's usually best to go for funds that have existed for >5 years, this is more so important now because of Covid boom and the bull market we're in right now which inflates the performance of even not so good Fund Managers. Motilal Oswal is decent but there are better ones out there, you could check Parag Pareikh, Quant and the likes.
And as someone mentioned above, you could always invest a small sum then wait for the fund fact sheet to know what companies they're investing in. Also do go on to Moneycontrol, you can check for top performing funds there as well.
