Anyone who has been to Azerbaijan?

Looking to travel to Azerbaijan later this year. Shortlisted this over Georgia due to a similar food palate and location being slightly cheaper than the latter. Need recommendations on what are the must see places, shop from there and general travel tips I need to keep in mind.
