Recently I've been contracting for a product based company and almost everyone is constantly online regardless of time.
Is it the same in product based companies or is this one an outlier? Additional context: the overall company size is around 30-40 employees.

If you work in global teams, esp US west coast, not much of a choice. My hours tend to be concentrated between 8:30 and 4, and then 8:30-10 PM (nights not every day but 2-3 days a week)
All the devs are in India so there is no issue of timezone
Then set your boundaries! Unless sh!t is breaking in prod, log off and stay off till the morning
