Ask for hike or move to a new company

I have got very less hike and my ctc is below market/company standards, so should I talk to my skip manager for raise or just switch to a new company, I’m worried about recession and layoffs. Yoe: 4

If this is your 2nd or 3rd year without a raise or promotion, believe me - they think u are non-competitive so not getting a job outside, plus you are being taken for granted.

If you talk to your skip manager , your direct manager will be pissed. On top of that your skip will ask your direct manager about your work and performance.

Simply switch and exit with a smile. Keep good references and praise your leadership.
