AU Ixigo

I applied for two credit cards in the past month. Amex Platinum Travel & AU Ixigo. Amex was approved very fast and I even got the card very soon. On the other hand, AU Ixigo application got declined 💀💀 Any idea as to what extra checks or criteria these guys have? My cibil score is very good, have HDFC, ICICI and OneCard cc’s, pretty decent net salary as well.

On another note: Please suggest a cc with 0% forex fee and lounge access…. That was my main reason to apply for the au ixigo card in the first place xD

Be happy , credit card is myth .. Indian society works on cash .. just use cash

I am happy lol Not worried but there should be a reason disclosed to reject applications. But yeah, im looking for a card for other societies xD ( 0 forex fee )

Cash means you are spending money. Credit card means you save money, by getting those freebies.

Applying for multiple credit cards / loans have negative impact on your credit score. So you applied for two credit cards. It shows as Hard Enquiries on credit report. You should have waited between the two applications. I assume you applied for the AMEX before & then for AU?

Search for Federal Banks and Standard Chartered Banks’ cc (Disclaimer: I don’t have them). I do have AU’s.

Oh, no idea of forex fee. Federal banks may be giving cc outside, independently too, but not sure, once I had tried to apply, and it didn’t work. Had to fill a silly form, and they never got back to me
