Should I Quit my job?

Been working with a pre series A level startup for about 3 years being my first job. Paid about 20-25lpa for a full stack role. Engineering + product team is still single digit strength as we are not pureplay tech company. Had a great learning because of a good manager and 0-1 kind of work we did but I am starting to feel stagnated because of following reasons 1. We don't have anything like SDE1, 2 etc because there are very few devs. 1 manager and everyone else is an SDE. The company doesn't intend to hire more for at least an year.. so i won't see any title level promotion or any role that feels senior despite being around for a while 2. Salary. Want to know if I am behind the standard pay because i belong to tier 1.5ish college. Big tech seems to pay more for 3yrs workex as usually people become sde2 by then

I’ve been working in an early-age startup as a frontend developer and am about to complete 2 years in 1 month. This is my first job. I want to quit immediately and then look for a job by doing some good preparation but I am so confused about what to do. I am actively applying. I am leaving this company coz there’s no increment this year also I have to switch projects frequently. I’ve worked on an MVP alone but the work is not organized like mid-level startups, big startups or MNCs. My question is simple. Should I leave and then start looking for jobs actively or I should stay here until the job market recovers? PS - Let me know if someone is hiring for frontend roles.It’ll be a great help

4yoe Engineer turned Product Manager. It's been 8 months I joined this B2B SaaS startup as an APM. Engineering team... mostly interns. Most of my time goes into execution following up with devs. Is the PR reviewed, is the bug fix deployed. No Jira, scrum, sprint planning whatsoever. CEO runs the whole show. Only fear driven product management. I have no idea what it means to work on vision or strategy. My career has started off with a shitty foundation. Everyday I feel like quitting. What should I do? Quit right away or wait n switch to a better company?

I have been working in this startup for around 1.5 years now, and soon I am going to be the only developer here, as the other 2 devs are going to leave soon. The company is now calling me to Bangalore. I am thinking as there will be no devs my growth will be very less, as this is my first organisation after graduation. Hi, I am a 2023 passout btech graduate. Currently I am working as a full time SDE (Full Stack) in a well established startup (8 years old , Series A funded). It's been nearly half year here. My compensation is 10.5 lakh base + 4.5 lakh performance bonus + free lunch and snacks + Insurance (Including parents) benefits I am pretty good at DSA (around 2000 rating on leetcode, 4 Star at codechef in 2nd year itself, 2000+ dsa problems) I have worked in 2 startups as an SDE intern during college days and completed 5 internships overall out of which one was a US based startup. Also, I have many publications under my name over the internet. I had many offers when I was graduating from college. Most of the time people say, "Hey, you have done so much so Why are you not working in a big tech". Well I always wanted to work for big tech during college days but after I started working in startups my thought process changed as here I got the ownership of the product. Now it has been nearly 1 year since I started working in startups. Should I give it a try for big tech now? Would like to hear your views guys

Hi I have worked in two startups as backend engineer and here I only did the given work and didnt proactively contribute much to the products. I have been given promotion to SDE 2 without any salary hike. I recently got laid off and I feel like I am not eligible for SDE 2 interviews. I can clear dsa rounds but suck in design rounds. I got a job with same salary at a service based company and I am thinking to join and then prepare to be better at design. is it a good decision? should I join it? YOE: 3y TC: 24L

So I interviewed for a local startup kind of and they gave me task which I completed in around like 2 weeks and now they are starting my stipend but I feel like after accepting the offer that company wouldn't be beneficial for me since it is local startup not from metro city and the technologies they are using are also kind of old is what I belive, so what should I do and since I have been jobless for long time because I was unsure of what to do next so I don't want to let go of this opportunity please help!!!

So I joined a startup on Oct, 23(6 months completed). They are struggling to raise funds. From Jan, they started layoffs from ops and customer support, went to major cost-cutting: no tea, snacks, giving the floor to rent, restricting the leaves: like for leave, you have to get approval from HR and the CEO, not the manager. I'm in a tech team, and multiple products are lined up for release, so work is there, but ultra micro-managing. I'm getting opportunities but I'm not sure whether to switch or not. I leave my last job in 5 months due to their funding issue. That's why I'm skeptical to leave or not. Would love to hear advice.

Hello everyone I am currently in my 4th year of Btech CSE and doing a 6-month internship in a fintech company Here I don't get to work on real projects just time waste tasks and empty assurances that one day I will get In FOMO, I did grind leetcode and also got a job but never been able to become very good at it I started doing projects (MERN) after work, on weekends it feels great to do projects but the thing is that I get limited time and the projects do not appear a big deal to anyone as I am making them on my own (No to " tutorial hell") gradually process of learning So my question is should I quit my job and develop my skills in MERN and other tech as I still have btech left it will not appear as a gap Also, I have 2-3 product ideas in my mind that I can work on Should I take a leap of faith?

Hello folks, I am working with a startup (now acquired by a big fintech) as FTE for 1.5 years now (Full stack dev) , my TC is 18 LPA (14.4 Fixed + Variable) in a permanent wfh model. The reason I want to switch is that my tech team is very small (4 people) and there is no senior person in my team from whom I can learn something, thus my learning has become stagnant technical wise. Should I try and switch company or stay in the same for more time, considering the current market scenario? PS: I am a 2022 graduate.
