Delay of Voter ID Address Change

I have just applied for Voter ID address change after the election in Bangalore. But other than the acknowledgement that I received online, there is no data of my application (in transit) on the voter portal. I even tried logging a complaint for which I was told that they will process my application shortly. Is it because of the ongoing application that these kind of requests are being delayed?
