No idea about career.

Sorry Guys for the rant just wanted to vent out something I don't know what to do in the future. Feels like I am stuck. I am not from a tech background. I did my B tech in Mechanical Engineering and secured a job at Vedanta( In their shitty Steel Unit). It has been 3.5 years and I am stuck in the never ending toxic cycle. I work like a donkey but I never got.any recognition for my work. Thought of going for an MBA from a top college only. Tried CAT 3 times but couldn't secure a tier 1 college( Last time was getting some Baby IIMs but thought of giving one more try and now I am fucked). Neither any career growth nor any learning growth is happening. Tried for a switch but not able to grab any opportunity. Even my CTC is too low ( Approx 65k per month) and being a 26 year old guy, when I see people making multiple lakhs I feel sad and dejected. Should have gone for CS during undergrad If anyone has any suggestions, or some guidance please share. I can't even share this with my parents, they just brush it off. Again sorry for this rant.

Specifically a question to all the t1 tech clg grads (mainly software engineers) earning 1l+ pm out of clg with a lot of scope for growth. Post mba avg salary is 1.5l per month. I can understand ppl desperate for a career change and non tech ppl who are underpaid and don't really have ab option but it baffles me why well paid folks would shell out 30lakhs kr take the burden of loan just to learn how to appear smarter than you actually are instead of investing it for a meagre salary increase that can be achieved by job switches. I'd love to hear any insights about ppl who've already been in the space. Why u did, salary PRE post sector etc

I am a 26F, 3yoe in advertising and marketing. I'm tired of being in agency side and serving the brand. I wanted to shift to brand side for that I'm planning to give CAT and get an MBA from IIMs. To be honest I feel super underconfident to give a try. I am disappointed with myself and throwing a lot of self hate for this attitude towards my preparation. Anyone who has cracked CAT could teach me how to overcome this would be highly appreciated. I am B.E. - Computer Science graduated in 2019. After that I started preparing for Upsc civil services exam. I didn't clear. So I decided to pivot to corporate sector. I upskilled myself for data analyst. I have been looking for job since last 1.5 year. But I am hardly getting any interview calls. Can't understand what am I doing wrong. Please help. If any opportunities or roadmap you know. Please let me know. Please help me and tell what am I doing wrong or what should I do. O am really depressed and stressed.

Hello People, I am from non-tech background but I need technical job. I did BSc in 2020 and thought to do goverment job preparation but due to some tragedy happend in my family I was unable to do anything for my career for more than 2 years and after that I got to know that I can learn skills and apply for IT jobs. I have done course on fullstack in 2023 but i did not got a single call or job offer for fresher. I am really fed up now and depressed. I have to look after me myself and do everything bcz of no leader in my family. Plesse suggest me what shall I do. Is it fine to apply jobs with fake experience? Will that help and will it be fine? During my B.Tech, I balanced my studies with active participation in clubs and committees, and also engaged in sports and exploration. Aspiring for a non-core placement, I didn't participate in hackathons or apply for internships. After graduation, I pursued various paths, including preparing for the CAT exam with only three months of preparation time, but I didn't succeed. I then applied to several companies for data analytics roles but kept making new mistakes in each attempt. In one instance, I was rejected for oversharing my passion for data science in a final interview. To improve my chances, I optimized my resume and completed significant projects, but these efforts haven't yet yielded the desired results. Realizing the challenges of relying on a single target, I also started preparing for the GATE exam. Reflecting on my journey, I recognize that I should have applied for on-campus opportunities, as off-campus job hunting is challenging and unpredictable, regardless of one's preparation. Tell me your story? In order to get some hope that we can make it and it's never too late

I need some advice. 1. I am a fresher and am considering giving the CAT exam this year. 2. Currently working as a data science intern and frankly, not enjoying it a bit. I dread debugging. I also feel everyday that AI can easily do 75% of my work. 3. I want some business side roles, thinking I won't have to stare at a screen all day, fixing bugs. What roles can I expect after doing a MBA, is it worth the extra 2 years and the money, and if you are someone who can relate to my situation, what are some of the things you enjoy about your work and some things which you absolutely hate. I might have completely wrong expectations, so please feel free to correct me.

I am probably earning 2x of what an average T-1 MBA grad makes in India. I'm just not happy in my role and this SDE grind caught me lackin'. Can you help me determine whether it is still a good bet to get an MBA? Because these normie MBA folks are literally the dumbest people I have seen and I think I can do a better job than them.

I am a BCA graduate who passed out in 2023 from a private university in Jaipur.Just like any other BCA guy I started preparing for MCA entrance exams such as NIMCET but I am not enjoying it. Truth to be told I always enjoyed solving questions on leetcode as well as making some web dev projects. Even I had developed some kickass advanced level web dev projects and won a hackathon also. But from last year I have been not coding and I literally forgotten everything. I am not even enjoying my MCA exam preparation. Even though I am getting decent marks in mock tests but still I am now frustrated. Please help me guys what should I do next? I love to code. What I am thinking is that to take some distance MCA course. Give myself 6 months to upskill and take a job. What do you guys think about it?

Hi! I’m in a huge dilemma and looking out for any advice I can get. I currently have 1.5 years of work ex and want to pursue MBA. Im confused if I should complete 2 years of work ex and then quit to do full time mba prep or quit right away to do prep. My quant is weak so I will need a lot of practice to crack CAT. 2 year criteria comes in so that I can keep options like ISB open as it requires a minimum of 2 year work ex. Any advice would be highly appreciated!
