Amazonians, Help me with an honest feedback please?

Hi Guys, I got a decent offer from Amazon this week. When i am searching on multiple review sites like Glassdoor etc, about working culture at Amazon, i am hardly getting any positive reviews? Can somebody pls share insights so that i can take switching decisions accordingly?

Supposed to join Amazon in the next couple of months. My current organization has a very laid back, positive and supportive work culture and at the moment im in a very comfortable spot. Ofcourse Amazon being a bigger and much better brand, is a very enticing opportunity. Confused in choosing an offer: 1. Highspot: 36fixed + 2L pf + 1.5L bonus + 10L stocks vested over 4yrs 2. Peopletech/Amazon: 36 fixed 3. Evernorth: 32.5 fixed + 3.5 vp+ 1L bonus I have 6.10yrs exp, I'm into java, spring. Money wise HS is much better but the problem is it is Ruby tech stack & monolith. Evernorth is java but pay is less. Amazon offer: need to work at Amazon office, so thinking to chose Amazon as there will be great learning & exposure to cloud. Is this good decision?

My Manager told me that I am not performing well and indirectly threatend me that I would be put in PIP. I am really tensed and not able to function properly. I anyways don't like my manager and trying to find a new job since last 3 months but nothing is working out. Not sure how to deal with it and what to do...

I passed out from a tier 1 college in 2023. I am working in a product based company right now and currently serving notice period. Got offer from Zomato with a good hike. Was very excited. But saw some posts about work culture at zomato and thus a but worried. I left my current company because of mainly bad work culture. My manager here is very toxic and thus I am leaving. I have no problem about occasional long working hours but worried about toxic work culture. Folks at zomato and others also, please help me out here.

Hi folks, I'm looking forward to an engg role where the team is distributed in 2 to 3 countries. Both my Reporting Manager and Sr. EM sit in the US and are of Chinese origin. Rest 3 to 4 Devs are in Bangalore and rest in other South East Asian country. Work and tech wise it's pretty good. Interesting product with great tech to work with. WLB is good. WFO is 3 days a week. Comp is also good. I'm supposed to have standup/product meetings starting mostly from 9 or 10 am for timezone overlap with manager 1:1 scheduled once every week and wrap up the day by 5 or 6 pm. Should I accept the role or reject it?

Please help me with possible questions for the interview, I have 10 months of experience in a similar field. Help me with these details as well - 1. WLB 2. In-hand salary 3. Current culture 4. Management style collectively Thanks!

What's your take on this ? Given the current scenario what job offer will you all be interested in? I'm having doubts for Amazon because of layoffs and other bad work culture news.
