I'm still hesitant to share that story so please bear with me. I was at Church Street Social yesterday night to meet some of my college friends. After a few drinks and a nice dinner at 12:30ish we decided to leave. Since, Uber was taking some time I was sitting w/ a few of my friends and talking. As soon as one of our guy friends left for home two women suddenly approached us and demanded for cash. We obviously denied and started walking away from them. So, I am not a very strong woman and I am slightly anemic, one of them suddenly pushed me back. My friends started helping me recover and also started to verbally fight with them. Thankfully, a security guard from the nearby restaurant shooed them away. I am obviously very worried about this incident and do not want to discuss this with anyone. I am too scared tbh and have moved in with few of my friends for some emotional support. This is also the reason why I am venting out because I just want to feel heard and understood rather than be told about what I should or shouldn't do.

Came to Bangalore to join an in-office role, the org and role is good. But coming from Gurgaon, I was not able to like the city. Some cons: - Extremely poor infrastructure like a tier 2 city - Every govt official is corrupt, police can harass you anywhere - You neither feel homely nor is there any vibe of a cosmopolitan city. Local politics will not let this city become a cosmopolitan startup hub. Gurgaon is so so much better. - Everyone just wants to loot money, everything is expensive. Rent is high, landlord deducting 1 month extra rent, unnecessarily high security amount, cook and maid everything is so effin’ expensive - Alcohol is expensive. - Good food is expensive The value of money is lesser here as compared to the rest of the country. I have a flight tonight and I am so happy that it’s a one way flight. I don’t mean to offend anyone, but bangalore can be very lonely and it has been so for many of my friends. Particularly ease of life is much higher in NCR and that’s why a lot of people move back. Those who feel otherwise haven’t lived in NCR so Bangalore is more of just a bubble for them. Adios!

I’m sorry to put this story out today But it’s common to encounter Eunuchs at every big traffic light in Bangalore. They ask for money, usually you can say no respectfully and they go away. But off late whenever I deny; they’ve been more and more aggressive Cut short to today when a Eunuch pretty much pinched me very very hard on my arm just near my triceps. The whole area got swollen red. All this just because I didn’t want to give them my money today

Last Friday I went on a date with a girl from Gurgaon and it was the biggest mistake of my life. I was apprehended by her brother's friend at Ambience Mall. How? We were having a milkshake from Keventer's where some guy randomly pops out and starts enquiring about what we were doing. The thing escalated and he said he will call police. I got scared. Then he motioned for someone, and that guy started misbehaving with us as well. It was becoming very stressful and I asked , "Tum chahte kya ho?" He was like, "Mhaare doston ko bhi thoda Milkshake Wilkshake pilao bhai." (Get milkshakes from KLeventers for our friends too). I was like, "Huh?" He demanded cash and said that he will get it himself. I gave them all cash I was carrying, some 2500 rupees and ran away. I think the girl was in on it too. What should I have done?

How frequently do you guys just approach a girl at random? On the streets, in bars, at gyms, etc. P.S. If you have any communication starters, please share.
