How do direct mutual fund platform make money?
Groww, zerodha, Jupiter, fi should be getting some commission from AMC. Do you know what is the commission percentage and what there term is typcially?
By selling you other investment and fintech products on which they can earn commission.
MF and SIPs are just a way to acquire sticky customers. Once you have invested money on a platform, you become sticky and are sure to have higher retention, and more open to cross-sell than someone they just acquired by pitching other fintech products.

Apparently, you get some CAC from AMC it seems like. Not confirmed but unofficial sources who confirmed of boosting one AMC over another and doing better SEO for themselves
Also, Found that Coin block competitor funds in their search when you search for similar funds like zerodha.
Nice strategy to not finding alternative.
