Which legacy/old companies work culture is like government job types and that’s pays well.

The current startup tech employees and founders are filled with so much junkies who do not care about the product at all. The culture is set when the startup is founded,when the first set of employees arrive. These folks are some of the most driven and talented and that's fine, it's how it should be. But the problem begins when these folks do not find their own hiring strategy and copy the hiring strategy of other companies. Instead of analysing what works best for them they justify their hiring means by saying this is what other have done. The result is you get a bunch of leetcode warriors who are always wanting to jump ships when given opportunity, never forming deep knowledge about their industry and their product. I work in one of the legacy tech companies, sure we do not hire the best people but we nurture them and that earns loyalty and long careers in our company. Even the employees have a very 360 degree view wrt product. We always deeply care about our product. Tbh I love seeing the stupidity of the market and it makes me happy that more confident that these people are wrong and always will be. Even the Indian startups are unoriginal and copied from the west then how do you expect the hiring to be unique. We are all living in the circus where jokers are supporting each other in making the circus bigger.

What are some good and stable companies to work for in these times? I'm looking for good pay, good work (ready to work hard) and no further layoffs. I have 3YOE. Please suggest.

Are there any companies which come even close to providing same benefits as govt job? Majority of the people from older generation who were into govt jobs (nearing retirement/retired) have built a decent life for themselves and their kids. They usually retire with a corpus of ~25-50L and have built 1-3 properties over tenure of service on back of cheap loans. Their is an added benefit from pensions in few cases. Not to mention the health benefits, extended leave benefits and a host of other things. Most of them are from education, railways and banks. Just wondering if there are/were companies which offer(ed) such perks and social security at all. Even the VP level employees are not safe in current market.

I am a python Developer having experience of 7.3 years. In this span I have worked as a Data Engineer with Geospatial data, RestFul API Developer, Away API gateway Integration and development Engineer. Right now since last 1.6 years working as ML engineer (80% software development+ 20% Data science exposure to me, There is Data scientist team for model development). Now I want to switch but confused that should I learn Deep learning in deep and practice in my current project before switch or I should master DSA and UI (React JS) and switch as SDE or Lead position. Adding to my tech stack, I have good knowledge to work with AWS, and Azure and using python SDKs for both. Beginner/Good experience with Docker kubernetes as well. Please suggest me so that I can make a choice to switch my company and get place in a Good org with good payment and work culture. Thanks in advance.

Since I joined the corporate world(2023 july ), I'm in a constant tension, worried, anxious about the future, market trends, job switch, impact of AI, job security, and all. I think day by day competition in Sde is raising, and in future it'll be difficult to survive in sde role or we'll in a constant tension about losing job. What do you think about government jobs vs private jobs ? Are the same long working hours and work pressure in the government sector, too ? I have no idea about the government sector. Can someone tell me what government jobs one can apply after Btech CS ?
