Providing used laptop by Infosys
Does Infosys provide used laptop even to full time employees or only to their third party employees ???
Do they buy new laptops for every one of the tens of thousands employees that join them every year?
Even if 10k new folks joinand everyone gets a 60k priced laptop(which not everyone gets) it will come to around 60 crore, not a lot.
Last year infosys added ~30K employees according to their statement which makes this cost 180 crores per year (~1% of their profit / income). Definitely seems doable.
But why? Why not take back the device and reuse it like other companies?
