Bengaluru to Get South Asia’s Tallest Skydeck: Karnataka Approves 250 Metre Project for ₹500 Crore
- Karnataka Cabinet has approved a 250-metre tall sky deck in Bengaluru, estimated to cost ₹500 crore.
- The tower, once built, will be the tallest of its kind in South Asia, according to reports by NDTV and Sun TV.
- The project will be located near NICE Road, with land provided by the promoters of NICE Road as per a Supreme Court order.
- Deputy CM DK Shivakumar stated that the location was chosen after considering various factors, including proximity to tourist destinations.
- The project will require 25 acres of land and will be funded by the government.
