Bit slow in work wt to do

So I have an overall 1 and half year IT experience. Recently shifted to a different project which is 70% different from my first project. Even though I am trying to complete the task as early as possible to understand it I am taking so much time, I wanted to do well in my job. Don't know wt my lead opinion on me 😥.
