Buying first car
How wise it is to buy KIA Seltos DCT as first car. I dont have much experience with driving car, month long of car training and then few driving here and there. Help me make a good decision

Don't go for seltos. There are better options available. Don't worry about learning. I booked zoomcar for 8 days and then next day bought the new car.
Seltos owner here. Go for it. Itâs an amazing vehicle. While I do agree that the external build quality could be better, I absolutely disagree with the âpickup not greatâ statement. Itâs the fastest car in the segment (gtx+ and x line) with 160bhp of power and the most fun to drive after the German twins. After sales can depend on your location but Iâve had a really good experience so far.
How did you make the decision between creta top model, seltos or going with xuv700 ax5 ?
It was easy between the creta and seltos as the seltos was the updated model and the new creta was not yet launched. I had a really bad experience with my previous car (nexon) and did not want to risk on reliability as I know a few horror stories with the XUV although I am aware that M&M cars are nowadays much ahead than Tata in terms of after sales and quality.
Don't buy a new car until you get good. Get a small cheap 2nd hand car that you can use to practise and make mistakes of.
I got a new i20 and learnt on it. Worth it. I wouldnât prefer second hand cars cuz youâll want a new one in no time. And get the car you wouldnât regret 5-7 years down the line. I had booked Swift but cancelled it 2 days later and went for Hyundai.
Start driving in traffic (commute to and from the office and grocery stores) and youâll be upto speed within 1-2 weeks.
Get a Toyota, the most reliable car out there. Mine runs smoothly even today after 11 years
