What teams getting laid off at Amazon India?

There have been some rumors and isolated reports of layoffs in Amazon India. Is there any truth to the story? If so, which teams have been impacted / are likely to be impacted?

Had heard from someone that there were layoffs supposed to happen this week at AWS. Just heard from a colleague that someone they know was asked to leave today. Does anyone know more?

Got to know from my skip manager that there will be another round of layoffs starting Monday.

15-18 folks we informed about termination today.

People who were affected just got emails. Orgs include Search, Cloud, Ads , Assistant, Pixel, etc. Engg is affected

Heard from multiple colleagues that they could cut Ads and AWA teams in India. Wouldn’t be surprised if this happens on Tuesday or Wednesday just before the earnings calls. All the best folks!

Who are the teams being laid off in Amazon in India? Is it the operations staff, admin or the SDEs 1 or 2 or senior coders?

Now that it's been a couple of days since the layoff news, was anyone in India affected ? I could not find any mention on the previous posts
