Any performance marketers here?

Driving growth in terms of new users acquisition via digital channels. What most people think is that it’s about running ads via google ads/ fb etc but that’s just surface level. Core perf marketers tie user growth against revenue metrics like ARPU and payback etc. Also involves business sense in terms of understanding seasonality, industry trends etc. working on projections, funnels etc. Almost a PM job. What id like to change is the CTCs and the preconceived notion that “perf marketers just run Facebook ads “

Driving direct growth and revenue,it almost feels like sales as all the metrics can be tied back to ROI. Performance marketers have a very strong idea of what marketing is actually working and what if pfaff and the perception that it stops at running FB and Google ads should change. CTC wise I've found them to be higher than regular creative marketing fields
