Another thing to keep in mind is that iphones, ipads, apple tv and homepods don't have an international warranty.
Also UAE iphones don't have facetime as far as I know (not sure how it works if we take it out of the UAE).
Both are available with and without facetime. Depends what one buys
Last time I was there, I couldn't use Facetime. So this is what I based my info on.
