BI to DE, definitely yes. Also depending on your existing skillset, you can try Analytics Engineer.

Have worked on sap bo and qlikview. Curretly learning power bi but thinking its better to learn azure data engineering

What about SQL? You have to be very good at SQL for this exp? Learning DE/Devops won’t be issue, but after learning which roles you would apply? Even for 8 years DE, they expect a lot.

In my case I had 8 years of SQL + Python + Tableau exp, then I got into mid DE role (5-8 yoe). For 13 yoe I’m not sure how recruiters would react, may be you can try for internal project switch after learning?

Move to Data engineering, data science makes more sense as per your experience. Venturing into AI would also be great.
