Can you think of a better name for this kind of toxicity?

TCS stands for Toxic Company Supporters.

I don't think we can call them toxic for enforcing WFO. It's their company, they make the rules and they enforce them. As an employee, who has signed a contract has to follow them. The best thing to do here to get into a remote job and resign.

Why is WFO toxic ? 4 years back this was a norm. Was every company toxic then?

Company can choose the work mode. If one does not want they can move on. Ir company looses many valuable resources due to a policy, they will re-think. But if there are folks available for WFO and companies want the same - what's wrong.

There is big crowd of people who call themselves people managers. All those people are job less if employees continue to work from home. These managers spend a life time tracking employee log in'/log off, websites visited by employees, time spend being idle, F2F meeting to get updates . All of them went crazy in the last 3 years because of WFH. Those fallen angels shall raise again. BTW tech bros with the unreasonable pay should at least work from office. why should someone be paid for taking afternoon naps?
