Can't the workshop give you a basic idea?

I've tried so many insurance companies over the years, acko seemed to be the least spammiest and most customer oriented.

The old PSU one that I had, I had to physically go to the office and submit a written letter and wait for reimbursement. No one even attended the phone. Decided ever since then to only work with a modern firm, even if I spend 1K more.

If you have more details on the issue could provide a guesstimate (I'm assuming that you're thinking whether to fix on own vs retain NCB).

Sorry I didn't mention. My insurance is expiring and looking to buy fresh. Acko was current year, but they don't have answers for anything, without raising claims. Which is cumbersome, I have asked them will there be additional charge for road side assistance, they told me to raise claim

Try calling another agent. From my understanding, you can renew without taking Roadside assistance (I just did). Honestly doesn't make sense waiting for their RA guy to come (unless you do a lot of highway travel). Yours seems like a new car, in city issues can get fixed very easily since there are workshops almost everywhere. Niggling issues can always wait till the workshop.

Warning don't even give your number to Policy Bazar. They will call you until you're in your coffin.
