You need to accomplish things sooner Try to achieve things that previously was planned for 2 years , in 6 months Completed or not But far ahead than most people Exercise and exposure to gym Learn to work under stress More productivity is achieved if constraints are tight More resources of the body will be burnt but the work will be completed early Leaving more time for other things

Stressed out of my manager

Hi everyone, I have been working in this company as a junior software developer for more than 8 months. This is my second company, and I had a probation period after joining this one. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with my manager because he was a fan of micromanagement. He didn't like anything I did and said that I was worthless, didn't know anything, and was stupid. He didn't have any trust in me, and I faced this day-to-day in office life. As a result, I lost my confidence, developed anxiety and depression, and even thought about suicide about a month ago. I am currently going to a therapist every week for my depression and anxiety. I worked really hard and even worked overtime and some weekends during my probation period. However, after 6 months, during my review, my manager said that I didn't work on anything and extended my probation to 3 months. I started my career 2 years ago, and I wonder if this is normal in IT career. I am looking for a job change right now, but I always get the question from most of the HR "why do you move too early?" and I don't know how to answer this question. Please help, guys.

One advice you’d give yourself now after having a few years of work exp

What is that one piece of advice you’d give your younger self or someone who’s starting off now after working for a few years. Mine would be that despite the hunger to prove yourself always take the time off to enjoy your success both personally and with people close to you. Time is something you’ll never get back.

Everything makes sense in retrospect. Sometimes we wish we took the advice that was given to us but fail to comprehend it. I'll start - money doesn't equal happiness;sadly. It'll get you to 70% faux happiness. But it's the 30% remaining percent that counts.
