What does it take to get approached by companies or clients?

Hi Everyone, I hope you all are making crazy money. I am actually a 3rd year engineering student. I've made over 28 products and released them, having over 650,000 users worldwide. But most of my products are free to use and thus I don't make any money at all even after having so many users, I made some paid apps too but didn't get significant users. I can confidently say that I am one of the best frontend developers available in the market, have a good portfolio, good linkedin profile, good achievements yet I don't get approached by companies or clients. This is a complete breakdown moment for me as I don't understand how much I have to do to start making money. Don't judge me for mentioning money here as I come from a lower middle class family and I need to make money for my life. I would love to get your opinion or suggestions or secrets whatever can help me in any ways. Thanks!

Nobody is getting approached out of the blue, it's all up to you, you need to take initiatives and make it happen via your connections aka hustle culture, you are already aware of that. Since you are still in college and quite talented, i would say the money part won't be an issue for you, it might take time but you will get there, you already seem way ahead of 99% of your peers. Since the money part will be sorted, focus on being Happy & Healthy as well, that's what matters the most, ask any 30+ person.

Adding ads in free apps is the first step !

I've actually added google ads but the returns are like $60-70 in around a year only!

What you don't need is an MBA to put some strategy into you! But if won't mind that, contact any of us buffoons. We sit empty on these apps all day.

The kind of money u want this early in ur life, it can only come from being a hit in content creation space at this time. Or selling off one of ur product to an interested party. I don’t think there is a path to what u want before even starting ur career. You gotta figure something out based on ur strengths or network. Other way is to get into freelancing and slowly that will get u recognized and pay well down the road

This early in life? I see kids making more money nowadays and the issue is not with starting freelancing, the issue is with not getting approached even after having a good profile. I mean I've heard from the very beginning that if you make a good profile, people will reach out to you but I don't see that in action yet. There must be something that I'm missing!
